Trying to influence selection of DIA path from a c8300 router based on data path policy, I'm not convinced that it is working. I was reading this fairly old (2020) guide:

which had two tips that may be relevant:
Techical Tip: On IOS XE SD-WAN routers, traffic forwarding to the NAT interfaces using path preference is not yet supported on
IOS XE SD-WAN platforms.
Techical Tip: On IOS XE SD-WAN routers, the traffic can be forwarded to the NAT interfaces based on ECMP, as path preference is
not yet supported on these router platforms.
Does anyone know if this is limitation still the case?
