Recently upgraded from 20.1 to 20.3.2.1 fine.. however now I go to set the default software to 20.3.2.1 and it fails..and vManage is in cluster mode

Are you able to delete the Available version? I'm sure it's 20.1. If not, then I ran into this issue as well and you might have to remove via CLI.

Try doing:

request platform software sdwan software set-default 20.3.2.1

then

request platform software sdwan software remove 20.1
