hello guys i was able to setup my vmanage , vsmart and vbond succesfully , vbond is CA server.

however i am now trying to onboard the Vedge but it first needs to be added to "wan edge list" on Vmanage.  my vmanage does not have access to internet but i also downloaded a CSV template but not sure how to enter the information for vdge, basically it asks for chassis number, product id , cert serial number etc.  please also find my Vedge config below for system and vpn 0 and please help !!!!!

i am running 20.9.4 for all the images.

Hi this video is about onboarding of viptela edge router on SD-WAN controllers. For SD-WAN more information and training visit https://www.networkbulls.com/nb-contactus For any kind of advice connect on :- https://instagram.com/networking_geeks Follow this channel for more updates. Hi everyone ...

please read my statement above, in the video you shared the guy already has the wan edge list uploaded to vmanage.  i want to know how to upload the vedge list to vmanage when your vmanage does not have access to internet.

in video which it seem you dont review
he use in vedge
show cert serial
and he get chassis number and serial number which is later use in vmanager to add vedge to list
please check video again

i installed the cert in the Vedge and i can see the chassis number and serial number , but when i try to upload it fails. i will try something else

Did you add it in vmanage via cli?

MHM

can u please share the command as i have now the chassis number and serial number info from Vedge

Hi,

initially vEdge devices don't have serial number, so you enter token (which comes in serial-list file) alongside chassis-number:

request vedge-cloud activate chassis-number [chassis_number] token [token]

after entering this information in vEdge CLI, vEdge connects to vBond and to vManage. vManage creates CSR and Certificate for vEdge and not token turns to serial, vEdge re-connects to vBond and to other controllers using chassis and serial. This part happens automatically.
