If i ping 8.8.8.8, what mtu value will it take.
Let say i have kept default mtu 1500.
Below is sample output from SDWAN device which have 3 transport wan connections verified all three connectivity upto 1472 is reachable beyond that traffic is getting dropped.
# ping 8.8.8.8 source ge1/7 size 1473 rapid count 100
Ping in VPN 0
....................................................................................................
--- 8.8.8.8 statistics ---
100 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss
# ping 8.8.8.8 source ge1/7 size 1472 rapid count 100

what SD-WAN device is this Vitella or Cisco hardware running SD-wan image, what is the config on the interface MTU ?

what config that interface configured MTU ? what is the Internet provider MTU offers ?

Our end configured with default mtu - 1500
Internet provider configured with mtu - 1514
