SD-WAN and User VPN

want to confirm my gut on a design question a customer gave me.

Looking at doing SD-WAN using either Meraki or Viptela configurations.

Customer also has firewalls at their main location for general firewall work and VPN for users.

My thinking is that these firewalls would stay in place for the corporate Firewall work to the Internet and for VPN connections for users and the SD-WAN concentrators would be in be in parallel connections to the Internet.

 All SDWAN topology I saw and worked in so far is complemented with firewall.  But, if the company intend to deploy SDWAN which means they are prepared to perform a  big change on the topology and make sense discuss about currently firewall position and usability. 

 Probably there will be no compatibility isseu but the final design should consider those firewalls.
