SD-WAN router behind another one

Dear guys,

I'm wondering if it is possible to configure an SD-WAN router behind another?

I have a use-case I have to connect a small branch to another branch because the small branch doesn't have access to our MPLS cloud. This another branch has connectivity to the rest of the Fabric.

Perhaps it is possible by using TLOC Extension from the other branch cEdge to the small branch cEdge ?

If not possible, my alternative would be to configure the small branch as a traditional router and establishing an IPsec tunnel to the other branch (on the service-side VPN).

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Sylvain.

Hi,

to add small branch to sdwan, you may use loopback transport on another branch (which now has connectivity to sdwan).

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/solutions/CVD/SDWAN/cisco-sdwan-design-guide.html

See: Loopback Interface Tunnels > the 3rd bullet point describes this scenario.
