Hi,

I am wonding if color under vpn 0 has meaning on vmanage, vsmart and vbond.

The relevant document says there is no meaning as those elements don't have TLOCs.

Will it be possible to get control connections withough color on vmanage, vsmart and vbond?

Which case is the color used in?

Controllers does not build data plane ipsec/gre tunnels, hence you don't need tunnel-interface on controllers.

If tunnel-interface is configured on controllers, then you will have default color assigned but indeed it has no meaning for controllers because controllers does not build data plane tunnels.

You will be able to build control plane in general.

I know this is an old thread, but felt like responding.
Actually colors on the controllers do matter quite a bit in some situations, especially in cases you are deploying your controllers on-prem and yet still need them to be exposed to the public internet, as an example. In this particular case, you'd need to use Private colors and that is a non-default setting, hence needs to be changed. I'd actually suggest you to review the following Cisco Live presentation: https://www.ciscolive.com/c/dam/r/ciscolive/emea/docs/2019/pdf/BRKCRS-2117.pdf
