UPGRADE SDWAN Router in Controller mode from CLI

Is there a way to perform an upgrade to a sdwan cedge router in Controller mode from the CLI if the image is in the bootflash?

unless i am mistaken, none of these solutions provide an answer

What he is trying to do is perform an software upgrade of a cisco in controller-mode from the CLI

so to be complete: if the router is in IOS XE SDWAN controller-mode, how does one upgrade the software from CLI mode

hi, yes i have tried it but it failed , on an ISR1100-4G with software 17.4.1a in controller managed mode i got this:

first i copied the image i was trying to upgrade to :  isr1100be-universalk9.V176_2_CSCWA26509.SPA.bin to the bootflash from usb, this was ok.

then:

request software sdwan software install bootflash:isr1100be-universalk9.V176_2_CSCWA26509.SPA.bin

and got:

Router#sh sdwan software
VERSION ACTIVE DEFAULT PREVIOUS CONFIRMED TIMESTAMP
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
17.04.01a.0.211 true true true user 2022-07-26T02:09:55-00:00

and in the messages it said:

The fact that the procedure did not work for you does not mean that it's not correct.

It's also possible you've hit a bug:
