vEdges not updating template configs

Hi,

I’ve set up a Viptela SD-WAN lab on EVE-NG for practice. My setup has 3 vEdges that I’ve already activated on vManage.

The issue is:

  • When I attach device templates and push them, the process runs to 100% and shows Success on the vManage dashboard.

  • However, the configuration is not actually updated on the vEdges — they keep running the old config.

Details:

  • Controllers and vEdges are running version 20.3.1.

  • Control connections are established and vManage shows the devices as reachable.

Has anyone seen this before? What could be causing it, and what are the best steps to troubleshoot this kind of issue in a lab environment?

Try reload vManage and test again.

Hi,

Already tried multiple times but did not work.

I have seen this in the Lab environment, i have wiped and configured worked before.

or change to different version.

You can also troubleshoot checking logs.
