Adding the new module in Nexus 7K

Hi All,

I'm working on a task to add the new modules in Nexus 7K. As far I know initially all physical interfaces belong to the default VDC (VDC 1). we no need to allocate the physical interfaces to default VDC for enabling the interfaces to make configuration.

1- Do we need to allocate the physical interfaces to default VDC to enable the interfaces for configuration?

configuration:

vdc id 1

allocate interface Ethernet5/1-48

Thiyagu,

By default all the interfaces will be assigned to the admin/default VDC.

You can check with the following command:

show vdc membership
