APIC Server M4 unable to create Virtual Drive from Physical Drives

Hello,

I am working on an APIC Server M4 running CIMC firmware 4.2(2g).

We have added a new SSD and see the drive under the 12 SAS RAID Controller Physical Drives in the Unconfigured Good state.

When using the Create Virtual Drive from Unused Physical Drives I am able to select the drive and add it to a Drive Group, but when I click Create Virtual Drive I get a popup error stating "Invalid device ID / select-timeout" which cancels the process.

I was unable to find any information on this error, is there something I need to change to get around this issue?

I've seen similar errors in the past when 4k drives were added to boot volumes for server's that weren't in UEFI mode.

It appears that you aren't trying to set this as a boot drive so not sure if UEFI plays into this issue or not.
