hi all,
can nexus 2000 connects to a single shared port as FEX interface on module M132 of Nexus 7000? if it can, would it cause any disruption impact or significant disadvantages besides of course suffering backplane? currently my customer wants to add some more nexus 2000 but runs out of dedicated ports on Nexus 7000.
thanks a lot for answering..

Yes, that works fine. We have a few customers doing that.

thanks Jeremy for your response..
A Cisco local support guy told me that Nexus 2000 indeed must be connected to a shared port, because there is an additional VN header tag which is not supported in dedicated port of M132XP.
what do you think?
thanks in advance.

This is true. It will not work in dedicated mode.
