CIMC Processor CATERR_M

Hi Guys,

Been having issues on one of our blade server

CIMC | Processor CATERR_N #0xd5 | Predictive Failure asserted | Asserted
CIMC | Platform alert LED_BLADE_STATUS #0xf2 | LED color is amber | Asserted
CIMC | Processor CATERR_N #0xd5 | Predictive Failure deasserted | Asserted
CIMC | Platform alert LED_BLADE_STATUS #0xf2 | LED color is green | Asserted

From the SEL Logs, but had the UCS diagnostic tool run on the blade server. All quick and comprehensive test PASSED.

We have the latest firmware as well. 3.1(20b)

Any idea guys?

No alarms also on the DIMMs.

What is the blade hardware? CPU version?

What OS are you running?

Have you investigated the OS logs? Do you see "OEM System Boot Event" in SEL or /var/log/messages ?

This error could be caused by hardware or software, but if you ran the diag ISO and do not have issues, it could be incompatible software on the hardware.
