We are converting from a frame-relay connection directly into a 3745 to the Mainframe to the 7206 with a CIP to the Mainframe. We are using fras-host on the 7206 and fras-bnn on the remotes with SDLC controllers. The remotes that are Ciscos using fras-bnn work fine. The remotes that have 2210s using the IBM implementation of Ban-Bnn don't work. I can get the 2210s and the 7206 to use DLSw+, but we don't want to do this for network security reasons, so we need the fras-bnn to work on the 2210s also. It looks like the 7206 doesn't see the remote trying to connect. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

The Fras-host feature actually has some quite good debugs (unlike fras-bnn). These may be of some help in determining whether or not the router is actually seeing the connection attempt eg
Router#debug fras-host ?
activation FRAS Host Activation Packets
error FRAS Host Errors
packet FRAS Host Packets
snmp FRAS Host SNMP

Thanks for the suggestion. I had the configure the correct BNI in the 2210.
