Configuration Sync on Nexus 5k

support

Level 1

Hello,

I have come unstuck trying to remove some configuration from the switch-profile I have setup on a pair of Nexus 5548P switches.  I am trying to remove a pair of interfaces from the profile so that I can use them individually for something else.  The obvious 'no interface e1/2' doesn't work for good reason so I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this without having to remove the switch-profile completely and start again.

Thanks.

Once an interface is imported into switch-profile, you cannot do a no for it(similar to how we cannot do a "no interface ethernet" under config t). However, you can default the interface config under switch-profile for this and configure needed configuration under config-t. The interface would still be in switch-profile but with nothing under it.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply but I'm sure when I tried that I got an error message about it being not mutually exclusive.  I will have another try though.

Thanks.
