Configuring active/active NIC teaming on Nexus FEX 2248T

Hi, I'm configuring a couple of 5596 Nexus with 2248T FEXs, I'll be deploying the 5Ks with vPC and connecting the FEXs with straight through cabling, if servers connecting to the FEX need to be in active/active NIC mode, is there an additional configureation needed on the 5Ks to accomplish this? or will this work just by connecting the servers NIC 1 and NIC2 to each 5K1 and 5K2 since vPC is configured for the server's respective VLAN? thank you.

Hi,

You would need to connect one NIC to each 2248 FEX and put them in a VPC.  It should work just fine.  The only caveat is that you need Nexus OS 5.2(1)N1(1) or newer image installed.
