fabric extender fabric interface

i had 1 unit fabric extender which currently use FET connect to 2 unit nexus 5K in same DC (eVPC, dual home design). We are going split 1 unit Nexus 5k to new DC which will using single mode fiber between both DC . In this case , can i mix fabric extender fabric interface such as 2 FET for same DC nexus 5K , 2 SPF-10-LR for different DC nexus 5K? please advise.

There is limitation and FEX design for ToR or EoR, what distance you looking to extend this FEX ?

Distance between Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extender and Cisco Nexus 5000Series Switch: Up to 3 km

 Distance between Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extender and Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switch: Up to 10 km

Again depends on FEX model and SFP you use.
