Our Data Center is designed in an active-active topology whereby our FEXs are dual homed to two different Nexus 5020s. This has worked well for us up to this point as all our servers are set up as basic network fault tolerant (teamed NICs). However we now have a requirement to go to switch assisted load balancing on servers. Unfortunately we have discovered that you cannot port channel edge ports when a FEX is connected to two Nexus 5000 switches.
My question is: Is there a workaround for this and are there any plans to address this in future software releases?
