HP Proliant Teaming Config for vPC Nexus 7000

I have a HP server which has a 1Gbps connection to one Nexus 7000 and a second connection to a different Nexus 7000. The TX traffic is saturating the traffic on one link. I want to combine both the 1 Gbps links into a vPC configuration so that the bandwidth is doubled and we also maintain the redundancy.

These are direct connections not using HP  VC Flex 10s or Cisco 3020 etc.

I appreciate that HP server will need to be configured to use 802.3ad (Portchannels) and I have configured several vPC configurations on the Nexus 7000 already so I don't have any issues with the Cisco config side.

I need to know what type of teaming I should use on the HP Server:

1. NFT

2. TLB

3. SLB 802.3 ad Dynamic

4. Automatic

5. Dual Channel or Dynamic Dual Channel.

These are detailed at: ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/networking/TeamingWP.pdf

I would also appreciate any other real world advice or suggestions when setting this up.

thks,

Alan

After searching, I have found the following document which should provide the answers:
