I would like to know if the VIP2-40 or 50 on 7507 router series is hot swappable ?

I want to replace one vip2-40 on cisco 7570 router.

on this card there is no PA.

can i do it without stop the router ?

Yes, the VIP is hot-swappable. The PAs are not hot-swappable. Therefore, you must remove the VIP before you can remove a PA.
