Hello
Right now we are getting issues with unattended installation of a Cisco C240, the Cisco server don’t send the option 93 to the DHCP server(Where indicate to the Main server the type of hardware – Client System) and for this reason never received the path to start the installation, please your help if someone had this issue or if there is any way to force the delivery of this option in the client server.
We made a test with a virtual machine and the boot start without issues.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards.

Greetings.
What NIC and NIC port are you getting the DHCP requests from?
Wanted to confirm that this is not from the CIMC, and that your are trying to use a PXE boot from either the onboard or addin NICs/CNAs...
Thanks,
Kirk...

Hi Kirk
The DHCP Server (Who manage the unattenden install) is a Cisco C240, it is connected on ETH1 (1GB) (Different that CIMC port).
The Client Server (The server that don´t send the option 93) is connected on ETH0 (1GB)(Different that CIMC port).
Both servers are in the same VLAN
We attach to the Swtich a virtual machine from VMWare player for test and this VM send the option 93 and could be installed remotely.
Regards.

The 1 Gb LOM ports will be Intel I350s.
For others reading this post, option 93 is defined in https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4578#section-2.1
You are probably going to want to open a TAC ticket after confirming the following:
Thanks,
Kirk...
