KVM issue. Help!!!

Good Morning,

I was at a customer site yesterday and we want to upgrade the ESXi hyper-visor from 6.0 - 6.5.

I was able to access the kvm console and I associated or mapped the ESXi 6.5 iso file to the Blade server.

I restarted the server so that it can boot from the new iso loaded, But it didn't boot from the mapped C/DVD (iso file) instead it just load the normal ESXi 6.0. I tried it on several blade servers on the chassis but I was getting the same thing.

Pls, what could be WRONG?. I used the same method to install ESXi 6.0 earlier this year.

I need your HELP!!!! PLEASE!

Greetings.

When you hit the F6 key during the POST time when you can hit F2, F6(for boot menu), did it show you a list of bootable objects?

F6 should show you among other things the vDVD via KVM, which corresponds to your mounted ISO.

Thanks,

Kirk...
