The storage team was performing an internal disk replacement on one of the storage controllers, they had to bring it down during the activity. the windows server went into the hung state during the activity. this windows server is zoned with controller 0 an 1. it supposed to run with all the paths in controller 1. So, coming to the zoning part, the server has 4 vHBA and they are zones with ports in node 0 and node 1 for high availability. So the server has 8 paths per disk. When the storage team started the activity the server started reporting the error The IO operation at logical block address 0x310fdc30 for Disk 15 (PDO name: \Device\MPIODisk13) was retried. it's event id 153. This error triggering even after they brought up the controller. We are using native multipathing in windows servers.
hba driver, firmware and compatibility between ucsm and san switch is good.
