We are trying to move from a 3745 SNI connection with AT&T. Right now we are connected using a null network in both NCPs. We want to move the SNI connection to an NCP Gateway connect on the AT&T side and move our connection to our OSA using an XCA. We are currently using the OSA/XCA for communicating to various downstream machines using a locally administered mac address. We will be connecting via an AT&T owned cisco router.
We presented our OSA mac address to AT&T and they said they already have a mac address with the same number as ours.
My question is this. Can they spoof our MAC address in the cisco router to send to our mac?

What is the current attachment between the 2 ncps?
If sdlc, it should be no problem to map the sdlc address field to the mac address of the osa.
If it is lan to lan, then you'd need to put an sdlc link betwen them and do the same thing.

The link is Token Ring and AT&T probably won't move to an SDLC link, but I guess we could ask

If there duplicate mac is on a different lan then no problem. If it is on the same problem, then filter or put a hop count filter in it. Without the topology it is very hard to figure out solution.
