Hi,

I would to check confirmation regarding the max fex (NX2K 2224T) are supported on NX5K (5596UP) on both full L2 or L2/L3 design.

In my case i will implement 2x5596UP as Core datacenter with 14 FEX (NX2K 2224T series) for Server access.

Please i need to now if the limitation of 8 FEX peer 5596UP on L3 is software or design limitation?

What is the best implémentation scénario while implement 2x5596U (DC CORE) with 14 FEX will be connected trought 2 x Datacenter firewalls to the local CAMPUS based on 2x 6500 with VSS 1440 and th hole WAN network trought routers running OSPF, BGP /VPN MPLS routing protocoles.

Thanks.

For 55xx:

in L2 only - 24 fexes (check is enforced)

in L3 (license installed) - 8 (no hw/sw check enforced but from support perspective its not supported, ie more of design limitation)

Thanks, Vin.
