Nexus 5548 and 2232 configuration

Hi,

I would like to have some suggestions and recommendations for a single homed design for a nexus 5k, 2k, 1kV.

Firstly the design that we are hoping to do is as follows:

                    5k=5k

                    //     \\

                    2k     2k

                     \       /

                     Server

My question is what would a good design practice for this topology? The 5ks are not required to do any routing, this will be done at the firewalls.

VPC peer link should be configured between n5k, if 10gig servers are attached to FEX then you should cound the over subscription ratio for each FEX as it has 8 10gig uplink and 32  10gig server facing ports. Note that if you are not doing routing on N5K and attaching firewall directly to N5K then you need to make sure N5K port has correct speed setting configured. Port does not detect 1 gig SFP automatically.
