Maximum number of allowed physycal NICs on ESX host migrated to Nexus 1000V

Hi all,

I would like to know the maximun number of physical NICs (10g, 1g and combination of 1g and 10g) per ESX host which is on nexus 1000v.

Hi Kerim,

The maximum number of physical NICs supported by the Nexus 1000v per host is 32.

SV1(4a) Configuration Limits

There is no distinction between 1g vs 10g from the N1Kv perspective. However if you review the VMware configuration maximums guide, they outline further restrictions from the ESX/i perspective
