N5K Layer 3 card N55-M160L3-V2 limitation

Dear *,

I know that Nexus layer 3 card has forwarding rate of 160Gb only, does it meant that the forwarding rate of the whole Nexus box will drop down to 160Gb even if some traffic is only layer 2?

Also is it true that with Layer 3 card the max FEX supported is only 8?

Hi,

I have ask the same request regarding number of supported FEX with L3 on N5K deplyement.

Actually i have done a installation using 16 FEX with 2 N5K 5596 with L3 active.

I m looking for a confirmation to extend the number of FEX "more than 16".  I need a partical case test confirmation.
