Nexus 1000v cross vDS vMotion in vSphere 6 - version string in vCenter

vSphere 6 adds the ability to vMotion across virtual distributed switches. I am attempting to vMotion a live VM and vSphere will not allow it due to a version mismatch. I have two identical and working Nexus 1000v switches (n1000v-dk9.5.2.1.SV3.1.15.bin) in a single vCenter server in two different data centers. Hosts' VEMs are also consistent.

"Currently connected network interface" 'Network adapter 1' cannot use network 'NX_PortProfile (NX_1kV)', because "the destination distributed switch has a different version or vendor than the source distributed switch".

VMware offers a fix for this if you are running the VMware vDS.

I have located the equivalent for the 1000v and it appears that vCenter believes my original is running 4.0, even though it has been upgraded to 5.0.0. Any ideas how I can update the version string for the Nexus in vCenter?
