Nexus 2000 pre provisioning in N7K

Hi ,  Is Nexus 2000 pre provisioning supported in Nexus 7000 ?  Seems like not support..can't key in the command even when i have install and enabled the feature set for fex.  Thanks Eng Wee

What specific command are you trying to enter?

You can create the portchannels a head of time and add the vPC numbers to them if you already have a vPC domain id.

Nexus 2000 pre provisioning in N7K

Nexus 2000 pre provisioning is supported in Nexus 7000 , for that you can first enable NPV mode by which the configuration is deleted and you can configure the ports before the links go up on the FEXes. Enter the interface configuration mode for the FEX ports because they don’t exist yet as the FEX is not yet connected , if you are pre-provisioning the FEX 101 , in nexus 7k go to config mode and enter the slot which you are willing to config ( nexus7000 (config) # slot 101 ) , den type the command # provision model (model number).
