Nexus 3064-T Layer 3

Does anyone have experience using the Nexus 3064-T as their layer 3 core?  I know that's what the Nexus 7K and higher are used for but I have a very small environment (less than 5 ESX servers) serving as a DR site and the Nexus 3K fits within budget for this small location.

I like using the Nexus 3K for layer 2 networks.  They also have very limited buffering.  They work great when everything is 10Gbe connected, but you wouldn't want to 10Gbe connect storage and 1Gbe connect servers to that storage.  You would experience a lot of packet loss.

Have you looked at the 3850's?  They can be stacked together, have a lot more buffering, and work "normally" when it comes to layer 3.

Ideally 10GE for the servers, our SAN is connected to a pair of Brocade 10GE switches
