Nexus 5020 and unsupported Twinax 10 Gig cables

Hello

Has anyone had the oppotunity to implement a 10 Gig Twinax cable that showed up as unsupported in the logs. I have been told it is an option to use another vendors twinax, but you have to run some command in the nx-os to turn on the port with an unsupported cable/sfp.

Naturally if you experience a problem with that cable I doubt Cisco will support you. Good luck.
