Nexus 7000 DHCP Relay

Hello,

I see DHCP relay is the replacement for IP Helper.  The documentation for implementation shows:

_

Ensure that the DHCP snooping feature is enabled. You can use the show feature

to verify that the DHCPsnooping feature is enabled. The DHCP relay agent does not

require that you globally enable DHCP snooping.

-

This confuses me.  Does DHCP Snooping need to be enabled for DHCP Relay to work?  Any assistance is much appreciated.

/r

Rob

There is a problem with the documentation, you don't need to enablve dhcp snooping to run dhcp relay.

The correct way to enable dhcp relay is

feature dhcp

ip dhcp relay
