On some of the older switches you can run a command like the one below to point to a server and a specific UDP/TCP port.

logging host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx transport tcp port yyyy

Trying to do the same on the Nexus but cannot find the command to do so.  using the following command now:

logging server xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 6 use-vrf management

any suggestions?

thanks

There's an enhancement request currently opened for this -> CSCue48191

If this feature is important, I'd suggest you open a quick TAC case and request to have your SR linked to this bug to add priority to this request.

Regards,

Robert

8 years later and still not easy...

logging server _IP_ port 10516 use-vrf _VRF_
not sure if it's UDP/TCP or both..
