Hello,
My customer says that vmware has a maximum of 256 multicast groups and 10 sources per switch.
What are the multicast limitations per Nexus1000v ?
Regards

Ok thanks , so we have the same reference as i found 512 for release 4.2:

256 groups limitations should be for Vmware native switch.

adding one question, any limitations regarding multicast sources ?

There shouldn't be any limitation to that. To be the source of multicast traffic, you do not need to be a member of the group. It can be any device sending traffic to the group address
