Current NX7009 IOS image: kickstart: version 6.2(6b); system: version 6.2(6b)
Planning upgrade to 6.2(12) and use 2 steps: 6.2(6b)--> 6.2(8a), then 6.2(8a)-->6.2(12) ISSU
The first step was supported ISSU when the 6.2.12 released on Feb 12 2015, but showing NOT support ISSU when the new 6.2.14 released on Oct 13 2015. Can somebody clarify if the 6.2(6b) still support ISSU to 6.2(8a) or was a typo from the new 6.2.14 release notes?
I did compare the two 6.2 release notes before my posting question, 6.2(6b) was removed from October release notes(see attachment):
Cisco Nexus 7000 Series NX-OS Release Notes, Release 6.2: Date: October 13, 2015
Cisco Nexus 7000 Series NX-OS Release Notes, Release 6.2: Date: February 12, 2015
Also as we did the upgrade from 6.2(6b) to 6.2(8a), but the redundancy supervisor not fail back after starting the ISSU on active supervisor when finished the first Core.
Can anybody to clarify this ?
Thanks,
Richard Fu

Richard,
The ISSU table was reviewed by the Cisco BU team and the table was updated hence there are some changes as you see which includes removal of 6.2.6b .
I would rely on the table to plan the ISSU.
Also if you are seeing issue with the ISSU especially from 6.2.6b to 6.2.8a then I would recommend going with the traditional upgrade to ensure you are within the guidelines provided by Cisco
