PPPoE support ont a router

Dear all,

May I know PPPoE support is hardware dependent or software dependent???

If it's software dependent, then I can use any Routers and any ethernet interface to support PPPoE, let's say the built-in ethernet interface of 2600XM, 37xx etc.

I know 7200 supports PPPoE for sure.

For more information, you can use Feature Naigator(you need to login):

Put in the feature you want, it will list the softwares and hardwares which support the feature.
