Cisco Configurator tells me: Two or more selected items are incompatible. Selected or default-included item [PA-4C-E] is incompatible with: [S72AR1-12123E]. Please change one or more items.
Can someone explain this incompatibility? I would like to configure SNASW on a channel attached 7204VXR.

Hi Klaas,
I don't think this has anything to do with snasw in particular. According to Software Advisor, the levels of IOS that are compatible with PA-4C-E are 12.3T, 12.3, 12.2ZE, 12.2T, 12.2S, 12.2, and 12.1T. Was there are reason why you wanted 12.1E?

Thanks for your reply, Ray.
Cisco Configurator only gave me a choice of S72AR1-12123E and S72AR1-12126E for Enterprise/Snasw software-feature.

Klaas,
on the left instead of item S72AR1 you need to select item S72AR1L (12.2) or S72AR1K2 (12.3, 12.4) or SF72AR1P (12.2). In later releases of IOS, snasw is bundled with crypto and other features. My recommendation would be item S72AR1K2, feature set S72AR1K9-12315.
