Hi

Im trying to install Cisco APIC-EM ver. 1.4 on a Cisco UCS C200 M2 with bios build 1.4.1.0 (7/13/2011). When i plug in ethernet cables the mgt int. and eth0 int. there comes link on both. Now i insert the APIC-EM DVD and start installing the application, after Linux is installed and im going throug the APIC-EM wizard, when the wizard try to contact the gateway or the NTP server the Link led in the eth0 int. is out? Is this a equation of updating the firmware on the server?

Thanks in advance

Jakob

Greetings.

I would update to the latest HUU/firmware 1st.

Checking the APIC-EM 1.4 requirements at:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/cloud-systems-management/application-policy-infrastructure-controller-enterprise-module/1-4-x/release_notes_core/b_apic_em_rn_1-4-x.html#reference_7540573488B74286AA8F9032A2FA4442

I would be concerned if the C200M2 meets all the requirements.   https://certification.ubuntu.com/server/models/?vendors=Cisco%20UCS

All the servers listed in either the Cisco tested list, or the Ubuntu list are all M3 or above level servers, which have newer chipsets and processors.

Also please keep in mind the C200M2 servers are end of support as of Nov 2017.

Thanks,

Kirk...
