UCS C460M2 - Unable to launch KVM [SOLVED]

Hello.

I have a remote UCS C460M2 server with BIOS version 1.5.4.a and CIMC firmware 1.5.7c.

I've been without access to the server for a few months and now I found that i can't launch the KVM feature. I've reinstalled java, java 32 bits,(1.8.0_91b14) but nothing seems to work. I've also tried to launch KVM from a Linux PC with firefox but I always get:

"Unable to launch the application"

Name: Cisco Virtual KVM Console

Publisher: Cisco Systems inc.

location:my.ip

On the my exception tab i get:

om.sun.deploy.net.FailedDownloadException: Unable to load resource: https://192.168.68.21:443/software/avctNuova.jar
 at com.sun.deploy.net.DownloadEngine.actionDownload(Unknown Source)

 at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source)
 at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source)
 at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

I thought about installing newer firmware would solve this, but how can I do this if I'm unable to use KVM?

So my questions:

1-How can I get KVM working again?

2- Is it possible to upload new firmware without KVM?

Thanks and regards

David

OK

So I was able to find a very old PC with windows XP and java 1.7 and I could run KVM without any issues. From there I updated firmware 1.5(7c) to 1.5(8a) and BIOS 1.5.4a.0 to 1.5.4b.0 along with other updates included in "ucs-c460huu-1.5.8a" file and everything went smooth.

Now I can access KVM from a recent PC with java 1.8 (windows and Linux) and I just need to repeat these steps to another server.

Hope this helps someone.
