UCS uplink ports valid design

Hi All,

Is there any condition on the uplink ports from FIs to the 5K VPC ?. Like from the Chassis Fex to the FI there is condition of 2 4 or 8 ports. Is it apply to the uplink ports as well ?. I am planning to choose to 6 ports for VPC but not sure whether it is valid or not.

Hi Abdul

vPC configuration is flexible.

Minimal configuration: from each FI one link to each Northbound N5k, which is a vPC (total of 2 links per FI)

If more bandwidth is required, one could add a second link (total 4 links per FI).

6 links (3 per N5k and FI) would be possible as well (in contrast to FI-IOM)
