Dear Sir/Madam,
is there any problem when i connect two stack 2960-x to nexus 5672UP by using VPC?
customer don't like nexus 2k, so we place two 2960-x on top of rack , and make stack of two 2960-x together, and two 10G uplink(one 2960-x has one 10G) connect to two nexus 5672UP separately. and server has two 1G port and connect to two 2960-X separately by using LACP etherchannel.
and two 5672UP connect to two nexus 7010 by using VPC.
so from server, access switch 2960-x. nexus 5672up,nexus 7010, we can built a no spanning tree topology.
Is there any problem in this design?
thank you
Tom

Hi Muthu,
Thank you!
Customer want to use VPC and using spanning tree just as a backup.
If we choose standalone 2960-x at ToR and use VPC, we must connect two 10G for each 2960-X.
and Server can't connect two standalone 2960-X. So i choose stack of two 2960-x at access-layer.
and from access-switch---distribute nexu 5672up---core nexus 7010 , we can use VPC,
Thank you!
Tom
