I have been fighting WOL for three days now...
https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/4062562
Finally it looks like it comes down to enabling "IP directed broadcasts" a.k.a "subnet directed broadcasts" in the firewall.
How is this done?
thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon, Thank you for using our forum, my name is Luis I am part of the Small business Support community. As far I know it the protocol is not supported by small business products, but following the Post about WOL for the RV082, creating the ACL in the router in order to open the port, create port forwarding to your PC, also you need to assign static IP address to this host and other advises, are necessary in order to configure WOL.
Let me know if you have any question,

Yes, I created the access rule, port forwarding, etc. I can actually get it to wake up on the LAN right now, even from a power-off state.
The problem now is I still cannot get it working through the internet.
The RV082 WOL post continues growing in the meantime...

Hi Jon, I was wondering if you tried to enabling the Remote Management in Firewall>Basic Setting, just for testing matters you could give a try. If the issue continues, could you please reach out to our Small Business Support Center and open a Service Request to address this issue? One of our Engineers may be able to work with you and diagnose the root cause. You can find the appropriate contact information for SBSC in the below link.
