We have a couple of older RV082 Routers that we have been very happy with. However, we have decided to purchase newer models of the same router (v3) so we could run the latest firmware (4.X).
I have exported the router config file from the older routers (FW version 2.0.2.01-tm) and the rv0xx Migration Utility (v1.0.2.2) refuses to convert the config file and fails with the following messages:
***Create C:\Temp\Router Config\RV082_V3.config start
***Get ModelName fail.
***log end***
I have also tried an older export file from the RV082 (fw version 1.3.9.8.tm) and it also fails with the exact same messages. It appears to have a problem reading the exported config file. The export file does not appear to be readable ASCII format and looks to be some binary compressed/encoded format.
