ZTE636 not recognized by RV215W

After connecting ZTE636 USB modem to Cisco RV215W the modem is not recognized, even though it is on the compatible modems list. The stick is from Orange PL. Firmware upgraded to 1.1.0.5
Any ideas? Krzysztof

This ZTE MF636 is compatible with your RV215W router if Orange Poland is your ISP according to the compatibility list;

Have you tested this modem somewhere else, I mean; can you tell the modem works fine?, besides; at the time you plugged it in, did you get any sort of error?

If we know for sure the modem is not the problem I suggest you to call the Small Business technical support line;

does this mean that the same modem type from one ISP will work but from the other ISP wont ?

Why ?
