This is great news. Do we know if there are any limitations or support issues in ordering the 2900 platform Security or Data Licenses separately and applying them since they're not already pre-configured? This would be in order to use other services on the 2921 such as IPSEC, IOS FW, DMVPN, etc...
Thanks,
Brett

Services and interface cards/modules supported on 2921 ISR but not bundled in the BE6000S packaged offer can be purchased ala carte and applied on the bundle. Please refer to 2921 datasheet for supported services and interfaces.
Arun
Thanks Arun, that's exactly what i was looking for, just to make sure there were no limitations in additional services on the router.
BE6000S SKUs have been orderable since 12/5/2014 (BE6S-PRI-M2-K9, BE6S-BRI-M2-K9, BE6S-FXO-M2-K9).
First order confirmed successfully shipped 2/5/2015 so we can now declare FCS, and you will start to see this indicated on various partner sites.
Currently processing backlogged orders from orderability thru present. Staggering NPH release as the manufacturing sites ramp up and expect to clear backlog within next couple of weeks when ramp-up completes. Brand new incoming orders will be auto-assigned the default new-SKU manufacturing NPH. At completion of site ramp-up, new incoming orders will no longer auto-NPH and orders will schedule normally.
After NPH is removed on an order, a ship date / lead time is scheduled. Check CCW for assigned lead time. If want to move this up, follow standard CS/VP/EE expedite processes.
Hi, i 2 have questions about the licensing:
- Is the licensing model the same as 6000H and 6000M models ?
- Are some licenses included in the 6000S ?
Thank you,
Roberto
Hi Roberto,
Yes, the licensing model is the same for all BE6000 models S, M & H. The only practical difference being the maximum number of UC licenses that can be ordered for the BE6000S (150 instead of 1000).
There are no UC licenses included with the BE6000S appliance (the same goes for M&H).
The BE6000S does include 10 CUBE session licenses and the Cisco embedded hypervisor license though.
The BE6000 Ordering Guide includes all of these details.
Hope that helps,
Andy
Hi Andrew,
Is there any installation or configuration guide for the BE6000S? It is hard to find anything.
Thanks.

Hi,
Is the BE6000S still available in the CTOP portal. If not, can you point me to some kind of a formal Cisco notification on this?
