Configuration of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Debug Log on the Cisco Spam and Virus Blocker
Objective
The objective of this document is to guide the user on how to configure the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) debug log. LDAP is used to organize and access information in a directory over an Internet Protocol network. The configuration of LDAP debug logs will help to troubleshoot issues with LDAP.

LDAP Debug Log Configuration
Step 1. Use the web configuration utility to choose System Administration > Log Subscriptions . The Log Subscriptions page opens:
Step 2. Click Add Log Subscription to add a new log subscription.
Step 3. From the Log Type drop-down list, choose LDAP Debug Logs.
Step 4. In the Log Name field, enter the name for the log directory.
Step 5. In the File Name field, enter the desired name of the log file.
Step 6. In the Maximum File Size field, enter the desired size of the log file followed by a K or an M. K means kilobytes and M means megabytes.
Step 7. Click Submit to save the settings or click Cancel to discard the settings.
