Configuring Advanced Settings on the WAP4400N Series Wireless-N Access Point
Objectives
The Setup > Advanced page displays the advanced settings of the access point. On this page, you can configure settings for HTTP redirect and 802.1X. HTTP redirect allows the administrator to redirect all initial HTTP requests to a specified URL for new wireless clients. 802.1X Supplicant must be enabled if the network requires 802.1X authentication before allowing access.

Step-by-Step Procedure
Changing the Advanced Settings on the WAP4400N Series Wireless-N Access Point
Step 1. Using the graphical user interface on the WAP4400 Series Wireless-N Access Point, choose Setup > Advanced.
Step 2. To enable HTTP redirect settings, click the Enabled radio button in the HTTP Redirect Settings field.
Step 3. In the URL field, enter the URL that you would like to redirect the HTTP requests to.
Step 4. To enable 802.1X supplication settings, click the Enabled radio button in the 802.1X Supplicant field.
• Click the Authentication via MAC Address radio button the use the MAC address for authentication.
• Click the Authentication via Name and Password to use a name and password for authentication.
• Enter the name and password in the Name and Password fields.
