Dynamic DNS (DDNS) using TZO.com Configuration on WRV210

Objectives

Dynamic DNS is a useful tool for being able to reach the public IP address of a connection that doesn't have a static IP address.

This article explains how to setup Dynamic DNS using TZO.com on the WRV210

Step-by-Step Procedure

Setting up Dynamic DNS

Step 1. Login to the Web Configuration Utility using admin credentials.

Step 2. Choose Setup > DDNS using the Router Configuration Utility.

Note: A TZO.com account is required to proceed. Visit TZO.com to setup an account if you do not have a valid account.

Step 3. Select TZO.com from the DDNS service Provider drop-down list.

Step 4. Enter the email used to sign up for the TZO.com account in the E-mail Address field.

Step 5. Enter the TZO.com account password in the TZO Password field.

Step 6. Enter the TZO.com domain name in the Domain Name field.

Step 7. Click Save.

Note: The public IP address assigned to the router will be displayed as well as the status of the connection with DynDNS.org
