Objective
Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) is a network service that allows a networked device in this case a router which is using communication protocols to apprise the Domain Name System (DNS) to change its active DNS configuration. WRV54G Wireless-G Virtual Private Network (VPN) Broadband Router has this DDNS feature. The main advantage of the DDNS is that it facilitates to assign fixed host and domain name to a dynamic Internet IP address. DDNS is good in the case when hosting a website, FTP server or other server behind the router. This document explains the page for the DDNS service which is offered by the DDNS service provider TZO.com.
Note: Before using this feature, it is necessary to sign up for DDNS service at TZO.com service provider.

Step-by-Step Procedure
DDNS Setup of TZO.com
Step 1. Use the router configuration utility to choose Setup > DDNS. The DDNS page opens.
Step 2. Choose TZO.com service from the drop-down menu.
A new page opens which consists of the following features:
• DDNS Service — This field displays the service which is offered by the service provider TZO.com.
• Email — Enter the Email address which has been setup with the service provider TZO.com.
• TZO Password Key — Enter the TZO Password Key which has been setup with the service provider TZO.com.
• Domain name — Enter the Domain name which has been setup with the service provider TZO.com.
• Internet IP Address — This field displays the Router's current IP address. Since it is dynamic, the address changes.
• Status — This field displays the status of the DDNS service which is provided.
Step 2. Click Save Settings in order to apply changes.
